Salary: $55000$60000 annually plus incentives.

Must have experience recruiting skilled labor.

A wellestablished custom cabinetry company in North Fort Worth is seeking an HR & Recruiting Specialist to join our growing team. We are a familyowned business that specializes in delivering highquality cabinetry services to custom home builders contractors and homeowners across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Role Overview

The HR & Recruiting Specialist will take charge of recruitment onboarding employee records policy administration and employee relations while supporting office operations such as event planning and office supply management. Youll play a vital role in fostering our company culture and ensuring the success of our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources

  • Recruitment Activities: Post job openings review resumes evaluate candidates and schedule interviews.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Coordinate processes such as background checks I9 compliance orientations and benefits enrollment.
  • Policy Interpretation: Explain company policies and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage documentation for benefits training and performance evaluations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement HR process improvements.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately manage personnel files databases and other HR documentation.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and integrity.

Employee Relations Engagement & Culture

  • Foster Workplace Culture: Embody and promote company values through interactions with employees onboarding and training. Create a positive work environment through recognition initiatives and engagement activities.
  • Employee Relations Support: Act as a liaison between employees and management to address questions concerns and policy communication.
  • Event Oversight: Plan and oversee employee events ensuring inclusivity and adherence to recognition guidelines.
  • Promote Safety: Support the implementation of safety policies and training programs.

Office Support

  • General Office Support: Manage office supplies organize meetings handle mail and coordinate meals or events as required.
  • Customer Service: Respond to phone and email inquiries professionally maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Project Assistance: Support company projects with preparation organization and coordination.

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience using online job boards professional networking platforms (e.g. LinkedIn) social media job fairs etc. to source potential candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ creative strategies to identify and attract skilled workers.
  • 23 years of HR experience.
  • Experience recruiting skilled labor.
  • Administrative experience required.
  • Knowledge of HR practices with a basic understanding of legal compliance.
  • Experience working for a small company is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
