Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Stuart Park Australia. As a key member of our management team you will support the daily operations of our restaurant ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient team performance.
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team during busy service periods fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
- Train and develop crew members focusing on skill improvement and career growth
- Proactively enhance guest experience through attentive service and prompt issue resolution
- Support inventory management ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising waste
- Assist in financial management tasks including cash handling and basic budgeting
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations maintaining a clean and safe dining environment
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to implement new initiatives and improve operational efficiency
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally striving for high customer satisfaction
- Assist in creating staff rotas and managing shift schedules
- Contribute to menu planning and special promotions considering local preferences and seasonal availability
Qualifications :
- Proven experience leading a team within a busy highvolume hospitality environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for inspiring leading and developing team members
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations including familiarity with local standards
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and pointofsale systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Basic financial management and budgeting abilities
- Adaptability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Familiarity with local food culture and dining preferences in Stuart Park and surrounding areas
