What Would You Do The Specifics.
- Responds to subpoenas for medical records in addition to medical records requests from varying offices such as attorneys insurance and disability offices by contacting store managers and to obtain the necessary medical records and files. Confirms patient visits and records on the companys Point of Sale system (POS) then follows up with store managers as regarding records and other documentation.
- Prepares and mails medical records requests correspondence and logs requests that have been completed.
- Prepares various other correspondences and reviews and edits documents as needed.
- Assists with the preparation of lease and sublease packages and sends out to appropriate parties for signatures. Once all signatures have been obtained leases are then entered into a database filed and scanned.
- Prepares check requests tracks and orders office supplies for legal department.
- Sets up litigation files for EEOC cases and assists Paralegals with the compilation documents in response to requests for production.
- Organizes and maintains filing system; scans documents for electronic file management and sends files to storage facility.
- Assists Sr. Paralegal with initial research for new trademarks.
- Assists with H1B application packages.
Qualifications :
Work Experience
- 24 years years of Medical Recordse Experience. ((Required))
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
- Two years of college or equivalent experience. Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired) such as basic accounting computer etc. equivalent of four years in high school plus night trade extension or correspondence school specialized training equal to two years of college (Preferred)
Licenses Certifications Professional Affiliations
- Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate ((Preferred))
Additional Skills
- Computer skills required: Word Excel Adobe Web Browsing.
- General knowledge of legal correspondence and terms required
- Customer service experience required.
- Strong verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail.
- Organized and detail oriented even in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to conduct research.
- Legal administrative experience and/or medical records experience preferred.
