Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide maintenance support and repairs to production machinery computer systems and facility for a 24 hr. / 7 day manufacturing operation. Additionally performs all the duties of a Maintenance Technician 1 as required.
Responsibilities:
- Production Support: Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests on the production floor. Train production technicians in the proper setup and copy troubleshooting techniques. Provide training and assistance to production technicians as needed to help maximize production output and minimize downtime through the utilization of proper production techniques and handling practices. 30%
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Effectively diagnose mechanical electrical network and computer hardware/software in assigned area (facility machinery equipment etc.) Make timely and accurate repairs as necessary during production Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair modification and maintenance of equipment. 30%
- Preventative Maintenance: Inspect machinery for potential problems on a daily basis. Documents problems and schedules work/repairs as appropriate. Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan. These activities will be recorded using proper PM sheets. 30%
- Administrative: Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory. Inform Supervisor of parts and equipment used from inventory. Record maintenance activities using the proper computer application or paperwork Provide training and coaching to new maintenance technicians and inspects their work. 5%
- Housekeeping/Other: Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area cleanup machine and equipment cleanup sweeping up after cleanup and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Associate degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
- 13 years of related experience.
- Electromechanical experience.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
- Powered Industrial Truck Certification
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficient in performing production equipment preventive maintenance.
- Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations/requirements.
- Able to identify and perform Level AB & C equipment preventive maintenance.
- Able to read and understand schematics/blueprints.
- Must demonstrate good time management skills. Plans and organizes daily work flow.
- Ability to retain knowledge of procedures and processes and understand complex instructions and multistep procedures.
- Willingness to attend training classes to learn or enhance skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to organize work people and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Ability to calculate area circumference volume etc.
- Serviceoriented personality.
- Ability to work a schedule with callin and overtime duties.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language preferred.
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate math skills.
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE UTILIZED
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and internet software.
- Ideal candidate will have experience with Inventory Software Manufacturing Software and Order Processing Systems.
Additional Information :
The national pay range for this role is $25 to $32.10/ hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location. In addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus commission or incentive program.
