Job Description
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE:
As a Senior Developer you will play a key role in delivering highquality software solutions for pricing and regulatory workflows in Rates and Credit desks. You will collaborate closely with business sponsors maintain existing systems and lead development efforts aligned with industry best practices for code management testing and CI/CD.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- Advanced proficiency in Python (including Pyro and regular expressions).
- Experience with MongoDB and Windows/Linux scripting.
- Familiarity with ControlM (Jobs as Code) and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Jenkins or UrbanCode.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- High level of English proficiency with excellent communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of C Java or Tibco Business Work 5.
- Experience with rates derivatives and products.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Recent (2 years) experience in banking and financial services.
- Spanish language skills (desirable).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop test operate and maintain new services for pricing systems.
- Implement responsive backend solutions based on business specifications.
- Ensure fullstack ownership by writing productionready testable code.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimize software delivery.
- Support production deployments and resolve production issues effectively.
- Migrate and evolve existing systems in compliance with group guidelines addressing network challenges such as firewalls and latency.
- Collaborate with partner technology teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Critically review and prioritize tasks to meet incremental delivery goals anticipating blockers before escalation is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related fields or substantial practical experience in advanced application support.
