Job Description
We are FastBits a Fintech startup under the Schnell Global Group focused on creating innovative digital solutions. We are building a cuttingedge financial mobile app to help users manage their finances set goals and interact with an AIpowered assistant.
We are seeking a FullStack Developer with at least 3 years of experience to design and implement the backend architecture APIs and database for a financial mobile app. You will collaborate with a Flutter Developer to build a seamless and efficient app experience ensuring robust functionality and secure data handling.
Tasks
Design and implement a scalable backend architecture for the financial mobile app.
Develop and deploy secure RESTful APIs for features such as:
User authentication (email/password).
Manual account and transaction management.
Goal creation and tracking.
AIpowered chat integration.
Build and manage a relational database (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) for storing user data transactions and goals.
Implement secure user authentication and authorization using OAuth2 or JWT.
Collaborate with the Flutter Developer to ensure smooth frontendbackend integration.
Set up and manage the apps deployment environment (e.g. AWS Google Cloud).
Monitor and optimize backend performance for scalability and reliability.
Debug and resolve issues to maintain a highquality codebase.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js Django or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in designing and managing relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL).
- Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth2 JWT) and data encryption.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions (e.g. AWS Firebase Google Cloud).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience integrating thirdparty APIs (e.g. OpenAI for AI chat financial APIs like Plaid).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. React Flutter) for effective collaboration.
