Job Description
Roles and Responsibilties:
- Running turnkey projects demonstrations and other customerrelated projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Conducting presale activities and reviews including customer visits evaluation of opportunities machine assessment and recommendations part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal
- Developing/implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers lathes grinders Swissstyle lathes and/ or multitasking machines
- Conducts training of customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers lathes grinders Swissstyle lathes and/or multitasking machines.
- Making accurate cost estimates writing engineering reports and interpreting plans and specifications
- Travel to customers for onsite training and engineering assistance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
- Possessing and maintaining an indepth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
- Knowledge of Fanucbased controls and 5axis experience is a plus
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred but not required.
- Able to think quickly assess a situation and make a sound decision.
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status :
US Citizen/Green Card Holder
MustHaves:
* Associates degree in a related field is preferred. High School Diploma/GED required
* We need candidates from machine manufacturing industries.
* Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing only
* Knowledge of Fanucbased controls and 5axis experience is a plus
Nice to Have:
* Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred but not required.
