Job Title: Network Engineer 4

Position Overview:
The Network Engineer 4 will lead and coordinate the procurement and installation of LiveScan systems statewide assist agencies with defining their LiveScan equipment and network requirements and support agencies in upgrading existing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate activities for the procurement and installation of LiveScan systems across the state.
- Facilitate the creation of network connectivity between cloudbased LiveScan servers and agency LiveScans ensuring effective and secure communication.
- Coordinate network connectivity and configuration tasks between state and agency systems to integrate with cloudbased LiveScan servers.
- Collaborate with IT suppliers and state technical personnel to ensure the timely delivery and implementation of systems.
- Manage and oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to LiveScan equipment and network connectivity.
- Work closely with agencies and other stakeholders to ensure successful deployment integration and operation of LiveScan systems.
- Provide expert guidance and technical support to agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Indepth knowledge of personal computers PC peripherals and network technical support.
- Expertise in advanced network administration concepts including DHCP DNS routers firewalls and related technologies.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot both software and hardware problems effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook for documentation reporting and communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network engineering and administration particularly in environments involving complex systems and infrastructure.
- Strong background in installing configuring and troubleshooting network equipment and systems.
- Experience with cloudbased systems and integration particularly related to LiveScan or similar biometric systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of state and agencylevel IT system integration and network security best practices.
