QA Engineer - Equity Only

StealthMode StartUp Client is seeking detailoriented QA Engineers to ensure the stability functionality and performance of an innovative web and mobile platform. This role will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies identifying bugs and collaborating with development teams to deliver a seamless user experience.

The ideal candidates will excel in creating automated and manual testing frameworks identifying edgecase scenarios and working crossfunctionally to maintain product quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web mobile and backend systems covering functional regression integration and performance testing.
• Design and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium Appium or Cypress to ensure consistent testing across releases.
• Perform detailed manual testing for critical user workflows edge cases and complex interactions.
• Accurately identify document and prioritize bugs in bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira Trello).
• Work closely with FrontEnd BackEnd and DevOps Engineers to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Ensure the platform is optimized for performance and scalability under hightraffic conditions using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Support security testing protocols to identify and prevent vulnerabilities particularly in financial transactions and user data handling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to perform User Acceptance Testing before major releases.
• Regularly assess and refine QA processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain detailed testing documentation including test cases results and improvement recommendations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance for web and mobile platforms.
• Excellent command of the English Language in all forms.
• Previous startup experience would be an advantage.
• Proficiency with manual testing tools and automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress Appium).
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g. Jira Trello Bugzilla).
• Experience testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman.
• Understanding of security testing protocols and vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10).
• Basic scripting skills in Python JavaScript or similar languages for automation tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify complex issues across systems.
• Clear and effective communication for documenting and reporting issues.
