StealthMode StartUp Client is seeking an innovative Data Scientist to drive datadriven decisionmaking predictive analytics and algorithm development for a cuttingedge web and mobile platform. This role will report to the VP of Data & Analytics and focus on analyzing large datasets building predictive models and uncovering actionable insights to enhance platform performance optimize user experiences and support strategic growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems through data a deep understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning techniques and the ability to translate findings into clear actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop statistical and predictive models to identify trends forecast user behaviour and drive strategic decisionmaking.
- Build and deploy machine learning algorithms for tasks such as user segmentation recommendation systems fraud detection and trend forecasting.
- Analyze and process large complex datasets to extract valuable insights and identify areas for optimization.
- Design and analyze A/B experiments to evaluate the impact of platform features and user experience enhancements.
- Work closely with Product Managers Engineers and Analysts to align data science initiatives with product and business goals.
- Develop dashboards and performance tracking systems to monitor key metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
- Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Continuously refine and optimize existing algorithms to improve accuracy efficiency and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging AI and data science trends and propose new methodologies to improve data insights and model performance.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for models algorithms and analytical workflows.
Requirements:
- A degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
- Excellent command of the English Language in all forms.
- Previous startup experience would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or Scala for data analysis and model building.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch Scikitlearn).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
- Familiarity with tools like Spark Hadoop or cloud data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery Redshift).
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling hypothesis testing and A/B testing methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Tableau Looker or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on actionable insights and business impact.
- Ability to translate complex data findings into clear understandable insights for diverse audiences.
