Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic software Application Account manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling Application Development and Integration solutions, with a focus on eservices and Digital Transformation Solutions, Process Automation, Digital Signature, Correspondences Management System, IA Chatbots, and Mobile Apps.

This role requires a strong technical background, an established network, and a proven track record in selling complex application solutions.

B. Accountabilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Understand and meet customer needs by proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Maintain and expand the client database within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and enhance sales team processes.
  • Mentor junior sales staff.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess strong knowledge in application development and integration.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide detailed product demonstrations and presentations to clients.

Market Understanding:

  • Have a deep understanding of the GCC/Kuwaiti market and culture.
  • Adapt sales strategies to align with regional and cultural nuances.
  • Leverage knowledge of the local market to gain a competitive edge.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales support.
  • Close follow-up and support of the PM during project execution.

Record Keeping and Reporting:

  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, and other relevant data.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, market trends, and sales outcomes.
  • Analyze market strategies and adjust to meet targets.

C. Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large deals and meeting sales quotas.
  • Strong technical background with an in-depth understanding of application solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office, Hospital Information System and other software applications.

D. Experience:

  • 5/- Years experience in sales, specifically in application development and integration.

E. Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent discipline.

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Building Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and ensuring they receive the best possible service and support.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Client Retention: Focus on retaining clients by addressing their evolving needs, providing excellent customer service, and demonstrating the value of the software.

2. Software Implementation and Onboarding

  • Onboarding New Clients: Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and that they are set up for success with the software.
  • Training and Support: Provide training for clients on how to use the software effectively and offer ongoing support to ensure they are leveraging all features.
  • Customization: Work with clients to customize the software to their specific needs, ensuring the application is aligned with their business processes.

3. Sales and Upselling

  • Renewals and Contract Management: Manage contract renewals and work to retain customers for the long term by offering solutions that meet their evolving needs.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional features, modules, or services that can enhance the client’s experience or meet new requirements.
  • Solution Selling: Present additional software solutions or upgrades that add value for the client, helping them achieve greater success using the software.

4. Product Knowledge and Support

  • Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest software updates, features, and best practices, and be able to communicate this knowledge to clients.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any technical or operational issues that clients face with the software, either directly or by coordinating with the technical support team.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients about their experience with the software and work with the development team to improve future versions or troubleshoot recurring issues.

5. Account Planning and Strategy

  • Account Development: Develop and execute strategies to grow the account by understanding the client's business goals and how the software can support them.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics (e.g., client satisfaction, renewals, upsell opportunities) and work towards continuous improvement.
  • Client Advocacy: Advocate for the client’s needs within the company and ensure that the software is consistently delivering value and meeting client expectations.

6. Customer Success and Satisfaction

  • Client Success: Focus on ensuring clients are getting the most value from the software and are using it effectively to achieve their business goals.
  • Issue Management: Proactively identify potential issues or roadblocks and work with clients and internal teams to resolve them before they escalate.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Regularly assess client satisfaction, gathering feedback and using it to improve the overall client experience and software adoption.

7. Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, technical support, and product development, to address client needs and ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Product Development Feedback: Relay customer feedback to product development teams to help improve or modify the software to better meet client needs.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that promotional materials or product releases are aligned with client interests and business needs.
