Job Description

Position: Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our clients team on a fulltime basis. As a Radiation Therapist you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to the prescribed treatment plan

Monitor and record patients response to treatment and report any adverse reactions

Collaborate with radiation oncologists physicists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all treatments and patient information

Educate and provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process

Maintain and operate radiation therapy equipment ensuring proper safety protocols are followed

Participate in quality assurance and safety procedures to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained

Keep uptodate with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field

Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Current state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles and techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

CPR certification
