Job Description
Position: Sonographer
Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our clients team on a fulltime basis. As a Sonographer you will play a critical role in providing highquality imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using specialized equipment and techniques
Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring their comfort and safety
Accurately record and analyze images and data for interpretation by physicians
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients
Maintain equipment and supplies ensuring they are in good working condition
Follow established protocols and safety standards to ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging results
Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have
Keep accurate records of patient information and maintain patient confidentiality
Continuously stay updated on industry developments and advancements in technology and techniques
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
Strong understanding of anatomy physiology and medical terminology
Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Must be able to lift and move equipment and assist patients as needed
Night shift required
