Lead Engineer - Electrical Data Center MEP REC

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Center Lead to oversee and drive the design business development and project management of Data Center projects across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP&FP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing and Fire Protection) design extensive industry connections and a proven track record of delivering highquality solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of technical professionals and contribute to the growth of our Data Center business

Key Responsibilities:

• MEP&FP Design Leadership: Lead and oversee the design of MEP&FP systems for Data Centers ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Industry Engagement: Act as a recognized expert in the India Data Center community representing the organization at industry events conferences and panel discussions.
• Client & Partner Network: Leverage existing relationships with Data Center clients and partners to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
• Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to expand the Data Center business focusing on client acquisition project proposals and contract negotiations.
• Project Management: Oversee the delivery of Data Center projects ensuring that timelines budgets and quality standards are met. An Electrical or Mechanical engineering background is preferred.
• Team Leadership: Manage mentor and develop a team of technical professionals fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Financial Management: Understand and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for Data Center projects ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
• Presentation & Communication Skills: Develop and deliver presentations to clients internal stakeholders and at industry events demonstrating strong communication and technical acumen.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated with the latest trends technologies and regulations in the Data Center sector in India to ensure the company remains competitive.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with sustainable design practices and energyefficient solutions for Data Centers.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP) or Data Center Design (e.g. CDCP DCP).

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or related engineering field.
• Proven experience in MEP&FP design and project management for Data Centers in India.
• Strong existing network within the India Data Center community.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Excellent presentation communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of technical professionals.
• Understanding of financial management principles including P&L analysis.
