Job Summary:As an Application Support Engineer you will act as a software detective identifying and solving issues within critical business systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of applications and provide dedicated support to endusers. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues collaborate with crossfunctional teams and contribute to improving the overall application performance and stability.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Actively participate and contribute to team discussions.
- Provide solutions to workrelated problems and technical challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by endusers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to investigate and resolve applicationrelated incidents.
- Monitor application performance and stability proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Offer timely and effective support to endusers to minimize disruptions in their workflow.
- Contribute to the optimization of application performance and stability through indepth analysis.
- Stay uptodate with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance application support processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting in a Windows Server environment.
- Experience managing and maintaining Windows Server infrastructure including installation configuration and patch management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory administration including user management group policies and security permissions.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or HyperV.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP DNS and DHCP.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Knowledge of other relevant networking protocols.
- Exposure to modern application support processes and tools.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to nontechnical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Collaborative mindset capable of working well with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
- Completion of at least 15 years of fulltime education in a relevant field.
