Job Description
- Perform routine inspections on pipelines to identify and assess structural issues of the pipelines with specialized equipment to conduct NDT in case of Steel piping
- Monitor site installation repair and maintenance operations
- Prepare routine inspection reports and conducting meetings with the construction team for further vigilance to the potential problems which must be tackled accordingly to avoid any future nonconformities
- Understand engineering drawings including Project drawings and Instrumentation Diagrams isometrics.
- Ensure that the work meets the integrity and compliance requirements of international codes standards specifications and the customers project specifications
Qualifications :
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university/ Degree
- Holder of IRCA Lead Auditor Certificate ISO 9001:2015
- Member of Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) organization or Chartered Engineer is desirable
- The candidate should have at least 7 years of demonstrable piping inspection experience
- Minimum of 7 years of QAQC Inspector proven experience
- Previous GCC experience is Mandatory KSA projects experience ideally
- Good understanding of engineering drawings including Project drawings and Instrumentation Diagrams isometrics.
- The inspector should have good communication skills with various stakeholders in the construction environment Familiar with relevant standards codes and regulations in pipelines and welding.
