Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Delivery and GPO teams to ensure the standardization of LIMS products.
- Align project execution within their teams with the Digital Labs corporate rollout strategy.
Specific Responsibilities
- Drive and maintain the global standardization of LIMS system configurations (e.g. core tests regulatory limits pricing QC masks and reference data).
- Define and enforce governance for global system setups and configurations.
- Represent the LIMS rollout stream in meetings and working groups.
- Coach and support local LIMS superusers and deployment teams.
- Participate in process gap analyses for new laboratories or businessidentified processes.
- Review core specifications including BOSS interfaces security and roles global naming conventions and global reports.
- Facilitate the resolution of LIMSrelated issues within technical teams.
- Maintain an inventory of products ready for implementation such as reports electronic data deliverables (EDDs) and system interfaces.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relevant field.
- 68 years of experience in similar roles.
- Proven project management expertise ideally in implementing solutions in an international context.
- Knowledge of LIMS (e.g. STARLIMS CCLAS LabVantage) is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of LIMS processes including:
- Endtoend laboratory workflows (from order confirmation to reporting and invoicing)
- Analytical testing and associated instrumentation
- Testing report logic and generation.
Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills:
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues.
- Identify and evaluate alternative solutions using existing parameters.
- Perform root cause analysis for efficient resolution.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of conveying ideas to diverse audiences including IT developers lab experts business users and managers.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Other Skills and Qualities:
- Adherence to SGS ethics standards and integrity.
- Familiarity with SGS culture is advantageous for collaboration with business colleagues.
- Logical and methodical thinking.
- Flexibility to travel as needed around 20% expected
