Job Description
We are looking for an Engineering Manager (Java/Kotlin) to join our Pricing Orchestration squad to help us maintain a comprehensive fast and reliable service that calculates pricing across all Delivery Hero brands based on pricing strategies set up by our pricing managers.
In our Logistics Team youll tackle highimpact challenges that make lastmile delivery efficient affordable and sustainable. Your work will directly improve experiences for riders end customers and merchants across the globe. Each enhancement you contribute will help Delivery Hero optimize delivery operations supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.

Support an established team of engineers in their daytoday development experience personal development and longterm career growth.
Own the execution and development of functionalities in small iterations that deliver value.
Ensure the high reliability of a lowlatency highthroughput system that powers the delivery fees of 60 countries and all Delivery Hero brands.
Partner with your product counterpart and provide technical direction to your team facilitating the design of feasible and iterative solutions aligned with the business needs.
Own the tech metrics and KPIs of your team ensuring full visibility tracking and alerting.
Provide technical support for the design of solutions that are reliable performing costeffective and scalable to meet the business needs.
Qualifications :

You are a knowledgeable technical guide who aligns with and supports product and business goals.
You are programing language agnostic with a clear understanding of core concepts and paradigms and can abstract this knowledge to multiple scenarios.
You are familiar with languages such as JVM technologies (Java/Kotlin)
You have experience working with IaaC setups; most of our infrastructure runs on Kubernetes deployed in AWS.
You are comfortable with microservices architectures as well as APIbased and eventbased communication.
You are a practical and resourceful technical guide who knows what is needed to achieve results
You believe in crossfunctional teams and have experience managing dependencies across tasks and teams.
You care about your team and your own personal and professional development.
Nice to have:
You are familiar with A/B testing
You have worked in Pricing topics.
You can be handson on demand to support and guide more junior developers.
Korean language skills
