Job Description
Depending on your level of experience the job of a design engineer will require you to be able to:
Prepare technical design solutions using recognised design tools
Work to tight and often changing deadlines
Prepare technical plans and project reports
Provide technical documentation to the Technical Controllers and participate in technical controls
Find solutions to remediate project issues (eg due to technical requirements or time schedules)
Build and manage relationships with clients and partners involved directly or indirectly in the project
Participates and support review and approvals processes including from subdesigners
Manage key activities tasks or projects including delivery to the client
Ensures adherence to quality management procedures
Have knowledge of the Romanian construction standards
Qualifications :
We recognize that each applicant will bring different experience but the ideal candidate will have:
At least 5 years of proven experience design in Rail
Construction University degree
Experience in technical project management
Good skills in organising scheduling planning and coordinating as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to tender deadlines
Good spoken and written English
Strong computer skills (proficiency in recognised design software and Microsoft applications).
