Job Description
Due to growing demand for our consultancy services we are seeking to hire a Senior Consultant with database development database management process & data mapping and data analysis skillsets to join our specialist Turner & Townsend Technology consulting team.
The role involves supporting a wide range of projects of all sizes and dimensions and we are seeking an individual with a strong track record of delivery data and analytics projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand clients data and systems
- Map out and establish endtoend data processes and data flows
- Evaluate design implement and manage database solutions
- Extract and integrate large datasets from multiple sources
- Implement data validation and cleansing processes
- Setup and maintain automated reporting processes
- Test and secure existing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical expertise in delivering business requirements
Qualifications :
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Consulting and business analysis skills (e.g. MoSCoW method) to understand clients requirements
- Experience in Agile delivery methodology
- Produce technical specification
- Experience in Azure platform (e.g. Data Factory Databricks Data Lake Data Warehouse Blob Storage)
- Experience working as a Database Analyst or Database Developer
- Ability to programme in languages such as SQL .NET Python and Bash script
- Understand data warehouse data modelling and ETL concepts
- Understand and design business intelligence and reporting architecture
- Understand concepts of dimensions measures metadata & schemas
- Understand analytical processing
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree educated or equivalent experience in a technical subject
- Strong Power BI skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills
