Job Description

Reporting Support

The Reporting Support shall be responsible for assisting the Reporting Lead with the review and development of a performance and reporting framework including the development of processes and procedures systems and controls and reporting templates to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the performance of the project.

The role holder shall support in ensuring that the performance and reporting framework is being complied with across the project including by the Project Delivery Partner and other appointed contractor(s) and will also ensure that reporting deliverables and associated performance analysis are of a high quality. The Reporting Support will also help establish Key Performance Indicators (KPls) overseeing the capture of programme data as well as performance reporting. Furthermore the Reporting Support will be required to embed a focus on continuous improvement and best practice reporting to drive a high performing programme delivery and the achievement of key success metrics.

10 years experience in project reporting with at least 5 years experience performing reporting activities across the project lifecycle through to completion in high value metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale / complexity.


Additional requirements:

  • Management information analysis presentation and requirements
  • Reporting tools and applications:
  • Microsoft tools (including Word Excel PowerPoint and Access)
  • Business Intelligence (Bl) tools e.g. Tableau MS Power Bl
  • Cost management systems financial management
  • Industry recognised publishing tools
  • Relevant reporting with substantial experience in data visualisation and analysis techniques
  • Project controls design

 

Skills:

The Reporting Support will be required to possess the following skills:

  • Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of delivery of high risk value and complex project and programmes
  • Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project/ programme reports as required
  • An ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service

Qualifications :

  • BA Hons supply chain procurement quantity surveying business or related disciple
  • MSc or equivalent in a related discipline
