Electrical Instrumentation EIT

AECOM is seeking a Electrical Instrumentation Controls Engineer /EIT to be based in our Calgary AB office.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Builds analytic and design skills.
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Design and specify distribution equipment and process instrumentation and control devices for various processes including municipal and industrial applications.
• Provide electrical discipline leadership on small to midscale industrial projects under minimal supervision to ensure that engineering and design deliverables comply with applicable regulations standards and sound engineering practices.
• Take direction from Project Managers Leads and Senior Engineers and work closely with other discipline Drafters Designers and Engineers as a key team player for coordination and liaison of project deliverables under minimal supervision.
• Strictly adhere to AECOMs project design and specification standards including the capability of learning and adopting clients standards and requirements as required.
• Ensure accuracy completeness and quality of technical aspects of project documentation produced in accordance with AECOM QA/QC procedures and with the clients standards and expectations.
• Ability to proactively participate manage and organize the activity of other less experienced or junior team members provide supervision to designers and efficiently and effectively coordinate multiple work assignments and projects.
• Ensure that project deliverables are produced in a timely manner to meet expected quality and allocated budget.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree with  2 years of related experience. 

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

4 years of relevant experience in design or construction

Water or wastewater project experience will be an asset.
