Roles and responsibilities

• 
  The Lead Specialist, LC Delivery is responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of local content initiatives within the Supplier Development Program. This role ensures that local content strategies are effectively executed, compliant with regulations, and contribute to the sustainable development of local industries. The Lead Specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the efficiency and impact of local content operations.
• Lead the execution of Local Content initiatives within the Supplier Development Program.
• Ensure all local content operations are performed within budget and on time.
• Optimize resource utilization and efficiency through effective OPEX management.
• Routinely analyze and report on the performance of local content initiatives.
• Identify and implement localization opportunities within the local supply chain.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all local content regulations and guidelines.
• Provide input on the financial aspects of local content initiatives during planning and execution stages.
• Conduct regular audits of local content expenditures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Desired candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant certification in supply chain management, cost management, or local content development.

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in local content development, supply chain management, or OPEX management.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects within budget and on time.

Skills:

• In-depth understanding of local content regulations and guidelines.

• Proficient in procurement spend analysis and resource optimization.

• Strong safety awareness and adherence to HSE regulations.

• Competent in interpreting financial data, regulations, codes, and relevant industry standards.

• Practical knowledge of procurement techniques and localization improvement strategies.

• Sound knowledge of operational processes and procedures related to local content.

• Proficient in using financial and operational software systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
