AECOM Buildings Places Architectural team are seeking Project Control Interns to join our team. This position can be based out of our Ottawa ON; Calgary AB; Edmonton; AB or Winnipeg MB offices with opportunities for hybrid and remote work.

Job Summary and Major Responsibilities:
AECOM Buildings Places Canada (BP Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture all the buildings engineering disciplines landscape architecture urban planning urban design economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. Project assignments may include although not limited to: Transit and Municipal Commercial and Institutional projects Justice Education and Government.
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad wellrounded learning experience within their field of study.
In the role of Project Coordinator Intern we are seeking an individual who will:
- Under direct supervision follows standard procedures processes and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Performs data entry into an electronic document management system.
- Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher/more experienced levels.
- May prepare and maintain project filing system.
- Assists in the receiving processing monitoring and expediting of internal and external distribution of engineering and supplier documentation.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Must currently be in a Bachelors Program in any subject but we will consider someone possessing any demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Must have completed 3 years of study in a relevant program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Potential candidates must be First Nations Inuit or Metis and applicants must declare that they are in the application form and our HR management system if successful.
