HERES WHAT WED LOVE FOR YOU TO TACKLE:

Were looking for a Credit Controller for our team in Barcelona. In this role you will work closely with our customers sales finance and accounting teams. This role is based in Barcelona and youwill work with the whole finance team within South Europe and France. • Clear incoming payments on customer accountsand work in customers portals
• Work with AP to clear deductions
• Control and manage vendor accounts in collaboration with AR Assistant
• Closely monitor customer balances resolve issues and ensure proper customer communication (collection and payment reminders)
• Reconcile customer accounts on a monthly basis
• Escalate and report on credit issues
• Make sure that the flow of invoices is correct including coordination of EDI issues (escalate immediately)
• Perform relevant SOX controls (contract review OTC02/ IFRS15 preparer OTC1617)
• Support commercial controller on credit terms and support new customer set up & Maintain Customer Master data form

HERE ARE THE THINGS WE THINK YOU NEED:

• Attention to detail is crucialfor reviewing financial documents detecting discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in credit transactions
• The ability to analyze financial data and trends
• Effective communication with customers sales teams and internal stakeholders and have the ability to set and achieve targets related
• Problemsolving skills are essential for identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
• A degree in economics / Accounting and at least 23 years of experience as a Credit Controller AR or in a similar role
• A solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Experience in Accounts Receivable credit Analyst or a related field
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to credit management such as SOX (SarbanesOxley Act)
• Experience in Spanish and French companies and familiarity with credit management software
• Spanish andEnglish is a mustand French is nice to have
