Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring Pharmacy Technician Basic Grade Rotational FTC for a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Responsibilities
- Extemporaneous dispensing Pyxis maintenance stock management charging and returns processing among other dispensarybased services.
- The prompt collection and entry of information about hospital drug use in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Handle cytotoxic product handling and cold chain maintenance among other particular requirements while processing orders that are given to the pharmacy department in compliance with protocols and documentation requirements.
- Follow departmental guidelines while using the Pyxis dispensing system.This covers any necessary loading replenishing outdating and regular upkeep.
- To provide technical cover for Aseptic Services on a rotational basis once deemed competent via departmental training process.
- Aseptic preparation of all parenteral chemotherapy drugs prepared in the unit including clinical trial materials in pharmaceutical isolators
Requirements
- Hold a diploma as a pharmaceutical technician.
- Take part in the pharmaceutical service as a member of a professional committed and ontime team.
- Establish encourage and uphold positive working relationships and open communication.
- Keep an eye on and preserve your own and other peoples health safety and security.
