En tant que titulaire de ce poste vous serez appel diriger le compte de lun de nos clients principaux et dune quipe talentueuse au Qubec tout en dveloppant lexpertise en stratgie de lagence et des relations fortes avec nos partenaires mdia et nos clients.


Tches et responsabilits

Gestion :

  • Coaching et supervision dune quipe de stratges expriments;
  • Grer la productivit et la charge de travail quotidienne de votre quipe;
  • Conseiller et travailler en troite collaboration avec nos clients et lensemble des experts mdia de lquipe (performance numriques investissements stratgie data et analytique);
  • Assurer le respect des livrables dans les dlais prescrits;
  • Superviser et amliorer les processus de travail de lquipe;
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les autres membres de lquipe de leadership de Toronto et de Montral pour veiller la formation et au bientre de nos employs;
  • Dvelopper des relations solides avec nos clients et partenaires daffaires;
  • Participer aux activits de dveloppement de lagence (pitch audits);
  • Reprsenter Glassroom dans le march qubcois auprs de nos clients et de nos partenaires mdias.

Expertise :

  • Conseiller nos clients et dvelopper des stratgies mdia pour atteindre leurs objectifs daffaires;
  • Assurer lexcellence des stratgies et plan mdias proposs nos clients;
  • Rdaction de point de vue sur lindustrie : tre laffut de lactualit et des innovations en mdia;
  • Superviser la production des rapports de performance et de contrle budgtaires;
  • Prsentation des tendances mdias et analyse de donnes de recherche;
  • Rle cl dans lavancement des projets structurants de nos clients et de Glassroom (ex : vision pour lquipe stratgique planification ethnique ciblage millniaux formations mdias);
  • Rle cl dans les discussions et collaborations internes et externes.

Exigences

  • Minimum de 5 ans dexprience en stratgie mdia dont 2 en supervision;
  • Exprience de dveloppement de stratgie dans les catgories du commerce de dtail ou CPG;
  • Connaissance trs dveloppe du march des mdias qubcois et canadiens;
  • Baccalaurat en communication marketing ou exprience quivalente;
  • Expert dans lutilisation des principaux outils de planification et de recherche mdia (Vividata Infosys Radius COMMB etc);
  • Bonne comprhension du SEM de la programmatique des mdias sociaux payants;
  • Connaissance de base des plateformes de gestion de donnes (DMPs);
  • Matrise dExcel des suites Microsoft Office et Google;
  • Bilingue (anglais franais).

Media Strategy Director

Growing Independent Media Agency Glassroom focuses on transparent advertiseragency relationships the professional development of its experts and continuous improvement. In this laboratory we aim to transform brilliant media strategies into inspiring business results.

As the holder of this position you will be responsible for leading the account of one of our key clients and managing a talented team in Quebec while also developing the agencys expertise in strategy and building strong relationships with our media partners and clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Management:

  • Coaching and supervising a team of experienced strategists;
  • Managing daily productivity and workload of your team;
  • Advising and working closely with our clients and all media experts on the team (digital performance investments strategy data and analytics);
  • Ensuring deliverables are met on time;
  • Overseeing and improving the teams workflows;
  • Collaborating with other members of the leadership team in Toronto and Montreal to ensure the training and wellbeing of our employees;
  • Developing strong relationships with our clients and business partners;
  • Participating in agency development activities (pitches audits);
  • Representing Glassroom in the Quebec market with clients and media partners.

Expertise:

  • Advising clients and developing media strategies to achieve their business objectives;
  • Ensuring excellence in the media strategies and plans presented to our clients;
  • Writing viewpoints on the industry: staying updated on media news and innovations;
  • Overseeing the production of performance and budget control reports;
  • Presenting media trends and analyzing research data;
  • Playing a key role in the advancement of strategic projects for our clients and Glassroom (e.g. strategic team vision ethnic planning millennial targeting media training);
  • Playing a key role in internal and external discussions and collaborations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of media strategy experience including 2 years in a supervisory role;
  • Experience in developing strategies in retail or CPG categories;
  • Strong knowledge of the Quebec and Canadian media markets;
  • Bachelors degree in marketing communications or equivalent experience;
  • Expertise in using key media planning and research tools (Vividata Infosys Radius COMMB etc.);
  • Good understanding of SEM programmatic and paid social media;
  • Basic knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs);
  • Proficient in Excel Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite;
  • Bilingual (English French).
