Job Description
Chief Risk OfficerCRO
Trading Risk Management: Lead trading risk management initiatives ensuring that all trading activities are conducted within the company s risk appetite and regulatory frameworks.
Business Empowerment: Collaborate with business units to support new initiatives ensuring alignment with both company objectives and regulatory requirements.
Risk Oversight: Manage and oversee various types of risk including market credit liquidity operations technology new product compliance and wallet risk.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all risk management processes are compliant with local regulations in UK and prepare for regulatory compliance in future European markets.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with the compliance legal and product teams to ensure new product launches and business developments meet regulatory requirements while fostering innovation.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in finance economics law or related field;
810 years of risk management experience particularly in a banks trading or financial services environment.
Proven experience in managing trading risk with exposure to other risk categories such as market credit liquidity and operational risk.
Strong understanding of UK s regulatory environment with experience in interacting with regulators.
Ability to balance regulatory compliance with creative approaches to support business growth and development.
Comfortable working in a fastpaced evolving environment and able to adapt to Startups.
Ability to communicate risk management strategies clearly and effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
