What you will be doing:
- Develop strategies objectives and service level agreements for IT services within the organization collaborating with leadership personnel to measure and improve organizational efficiency and performance.
- Interpret and translate complex IT concepts and specialized information related to technology for individuals of all levels of understanding including nonIT roles business partners leadership and colleagues.
- Anticipate organizational technology needs (hardware software and thirdparty systems) and create strategic solutions.
- Supervise work provided by thirdparty contractors/temporary or project resources.
- Manage the IT department staff resources budget and operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prioritize daily activities of the IT department staff to meet internal customer and organizational needs.
Experience you will need:
- A bachelors degree in computer science MIS or a related field is required.
- Budgeting experience.
- IT contracts management experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in a wide variety of IT functions (e.g. network/infrastructure administration software evaluation and implementation multilevel support infrastructure evaluation and design supplier evaluation and selection) preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with IBM (iseries; AS/400) preferably with programming and system administration experience in Infor XA.
- Windows environment experience including VMWAREbased servers.
- Experience with MES systems.
- Experience with EDI support.
- Experience in Cyber Security.
- Experience with phone systems.
- Experience with direct management of a team in an IT environment.
- Demonstrated successful management of full life cycle IT administration directly or through a team.
