About Us
Optiml is a PropTech startup with a mission to decarbonize real estate through our decarbonization software. In April 2024 we launched our product in the DACH region and the UK (soon US) and now were at the stage where we need to ramp up our operations to meet demand.
We spun out of ETH Zurich in 2022 and have recently raised a $4M preseed extension from toptier US and EU funds including Innovation Endeavors (the fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) Planet A BitStone and Kompas. Tasks
- Develop the companys core API (FastAPI) application logic & workflows.
- Prototype new solutions to solve our customers problems.
- Collaborate with Customer Support & Sales to build our internal tooling (Retool).
- Own the whole development lifecycle: specs to production implementation.
- Collaborate with peers on architecture design and code reviews.
Requirements

What you need
- 2 years of software engineering experience preferred
- Experience building Python APIs dashboards LLM based automations
- Track record of shipping high quality features fast
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Swiss or EU citizenship
