Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team based at CEVA Halewood. We are looking for an experienced Security Officer who will be responsible for maintaining the security of the site conducting internal and external patrols as part of a team and individually operating the search station and to act as the first point of contact for all visitors to site. The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum.
Duties include:
- Protecting the client s property people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI s) and sitespecific procedures
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
- Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
- Completing reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities
- Maintaining organisations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site providing a professional and friendly service
- Understanding the needs of our customer respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times
Requirements
- Full 5year employment checkable history
- Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG
- Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
- Flexible to meet the job requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Smart appearance and be wellgroomed
- Reliable and punctual
- High level of enthusiasm and passion
- Ability to work in a fastmoving environment
