Job Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods within the supply chain. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders managing shipments and ensuring timely delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers manufacturers and transportation companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure ontime delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory shipments and logistics activities.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve customer inquiries related to delivery and shipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and analyze logistics reports and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in logistics supply chain or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations is a plus.
