Job Description for Telecaller

Main Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote products or services.
  
• Handle inbound calls to resolve inquiries and provide information about the companys offerings.
  
• Identify sales opportunities and follow up with leads to convert them into customers.
  
• Achieve monthly sales and performance targets through effective communication and persuasion.
  
• Maintain a detailed record of customer interactions and feedback.
  
• Build rapport with customers to ensure longterm relationships and repeat business
  
• Provide regular updates to the management team on progress challenges and achievements.
  
• Update and maintain databases with customer and prospect information.
  
• Address and resolve customer complaints or redirect them to the relevant department when necessary.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in any discipline is a plus.
  
• Proven experience as a telecaller or in a similar customer service/sales role (1 to 3 years).
  

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  
• Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory.
  
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
  
• Basic computer literacy including familiarity with MS Office and CRM software.
  
• Good organizational and timemanagement skills.
  
• Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
