Create and maintain accurate price books across all sales channels (online instore etc.).
Implement and track promotional pricing and discounts.
Ensure price accuracy and consistency across all systems.
Ensure that price markups are maintained across all product lines.
Ensure that contracted vendor pricing is accurately implemented across all stores.
Analyze price competitiveness and make recommendations for adjustments.
Inventory Variance Analysis:
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies including void tickets scanned vs. unscanned sales and other variances.
Identify trends and root causes of inventory shrinkage.
Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g. sales warehouse) to implement corrective actions.
Cost Analysis:
Analyze costs across multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing and identify costsaving opportunities.
Negotiate pricing with vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
Track and analyze cost fluctuations and their impact on profitability.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports on price variance comparative pricing inventory variances and cost analysis findings.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
Notify store managers with recommendations for price competitive products/vendors.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing and inventory.
12 years of experience in inventory management preferably in the retail industry.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
Proven experience in similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
