Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Program Controls Director to fulfill a critical role within our organization.
The Program Controls Director will be entrusted with the following crucial responsibilities:
- Initiate and orchestrate Program Controls for large programs of high strategic value and utmost execution complexity.
- Provide authoritative oversight for Program Controls activities ensuring strict alignment with strategic objectives established by senior leadership.
- Spearhead coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program guaranteeing seamless integration and adherence to overarching program objectives.
- Initiate and implement strategic initiatives to optimize processes and foster enhanced collaboration between project teams.
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify and address critical interdependencies between projects employing sophisticated risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Lead highlevel conflict resolution efforts leveraging extensive experience to ensure optimal program performance.
- Develop and execute advanced resource allocation strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity across the entire program.
- Conceptualize and implement innovative strategies to exceed program goals and contribute significantly to organizational success.
- Provide expert guidance and rigorous oversight to project controls teams ensuring meticulous management of individual project elements.
- Orchestrate clear concise and authoritative communication between project teams stakeholders and senior leadership delivering insightful and actionable updates. Ability to present to multiple stakeholders.
- This role will involve travel within the United States including overnight trips. Travel is expected to be up to 75% of the time.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Project Management Engineering or Business plus 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 4 years of leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Project Management Engineering or Business.
- Strong experience with Project Management Information System (PMIS).
- Experience with large transportation water and aviation infrastructure.
- Experience in integration of controls scope cost schedule risk reporting.
- Experience in PowerBI report tailoring for program specific needs.
