We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager (Female Preferred) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in operations management particularly within the hospitality or beach resort industry. You should be an effective leader with a strong track record of streamlining operations improving processes and ensuring highquality service delivery across all departments. The successful candidate should be ready to take on the responsibility of overseeing the operational performance of the resort while delivering exceptional experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee and ensure smooth operations across all departments (guest services housekeeping food and beverage maintenance etc.) on a daily basis.
Ensure all operational processes procedures and systems are running efficiently.
Team Leadership and Staff Management:
Supervise and provide leadership to department heads and operational staff ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
Foster a positive collaborative work environment to encourage teamwork and professional development among staff.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:
Evaluate current processes and identify operational inefficiencies providing solutions to improve business operations and guest satisfaction.
Streamline operations to optimize the use of resources reduce costs and increase overall efficiency.
Budget and Financial Management:
Manage operational budgets ensuring cost control and profitability in line with company goals.
Monitor expenditures across departments and implement measures to stay within budget while maintaining quality.
Guest Experience and Satisfaction:
Work closely with the marketing and guest services teams to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the overall guest experience.
Address any operational or guest complaints promptly and ensure effective resolution.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the resort complies with all health safety and environmental regulations.
Manage regular checks and audits to ensure adherence to legal and safety standards.
Reporting and Strategic Planning:
Prepare regular operational performance reports for senior management identifying trends issues and areas for improvement.
Work with senior management to design and implement strategies aimed at business growth profitability and operational excellence.
Crisis Management and Leadership:
Provide handson leadership and direction during highdemand periods ensuring excellent service levels and operational effectiveness.
Manage emergency situations effectively ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests.
Requirements:
Gender: Female (Preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations management with specific experience in the hospitality or beach sector.
Qualification:
A degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or a related field.
Certification in CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) is an added advantage.
Skills and Expertise:
Strong knowledge of operations management process optimization budgeting and resource management.
Proven ability to manage staff and ensure operational standards are maintained across all departments.
Experience in the hospitality or beach resort industry with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and demands in this sector.
Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and improving profitability.
