Job Description

At AECOM were at the forefront of innovation delivering an exceptional portfolio of projects brought through longterm partnerships with key clients. This position offers an opportunity to manage environmental projects for different clients and sectors including industrial telecom or energy sectors.

Heres what youll do:

  • Provide Expertise: As an Environmental Project Manager youll manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports environmental assessments and supporting documents environmental due dilligences and environmental risk assessment among others.  Youll be involved in all project life stages from early strategy and proposal development to the project start and execution.
  • Ensure Quality: Your role requires a critical eye for detail to ensure that our deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards and compliance with our rigorous quality management procedures.
  • Project Management: Make effective use of your project management skills appropriately managing resources and budgets (with support as applicable).
  • Collaborate: You will be working as part of integrated design teams to improve the environmental outcomes of our projects you will identify environmental constraints identify impact avoidance and mitigation solutions as well as opportunities to deliver benefits.
  • Client Contact: Your role will require the management of client relationships and internal supply teams.
  • Growth: You will promote AECOMs environmental services to both internal and external audiences. You will identify and lead business development opportunities and associated fee and technical proposal development.

 


Qualifications :

  • BCs or MCs degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters degree).
  • Solid background EIA consultancy experience with proven skills in managing the preparation of environmental reports and the technical review of specialist chapters.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish languages with the ability to write comprehensive technical reports in both languages.
  • Ability to lead collaborative teams coordinating inputs from technical specialists. Requires the ability to work closely with clients and provide bespoke advice to help them achieve their goals.
  • Project management skills including programming staff resource and budget management.
  • Commitment to innovation and continuous professional development.
  • Interest in staff mentoring.
  • Familiarity with EHS National Environmental regulations.
  • Developing skills in leading business development opportunities.
  • Efficient verbal and report writing skills including technical reviewing and confidence when engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups.
