Job Description
Our client company provides a secure reliable and fully regulated exchange of various cryptocurrencies. Their mission is to increase economic freedom around the world and they couldnt do this without hiring the best people.
And now we are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer who are ready to be a part of a talented international team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develop the companys cybersecurity strategy roadmap and lead its implementation together with the project team
- Perform realtime proactive security monitoring detection and response to security events and incidents within the protected environment from the various SOC entry channels (SIEM Tickets Email and Phone)
- Conduct thorough checklistbased investigation of security events generated by detection mechanisms such as SIEM IDS/IPS AV
- Prepare for and implement ISO27001 in the company
- Conduct IT risk analysis and propose a risk mitigation plan according to the companys specifics
- Provide input on tuning and optimization of security systems
- Work as part of a team to ensure that data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT securityrelated policies procedures and other necessary documentation
- Conduct regular training for company employees on IT security and other training related to reducing IT security risks
- Conduct regular IT security audits identify vulnerabilities and organize their remediation
WHAT WE ARE EXPECTING
- Bachelors degree in Information Security/Computer Science/Information Technology
- Previous experience in Security Officer or similar position
- Broad awareness of cybersecurity events threats and actors including trends and emerging systemic risks
- Basic understanding of Operating Systems Virtualization technologies Network Devices Cloud computing concepts Web Proxies Firewalls Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems Antivirus Systems Data Loss Prevention and Vulnerability Assessment tools
- Strong understanding of security incident management malware management and vulnerability management processes
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols network analysis network/security applications and common Internet protocols and applications
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks priorities and operational assignments in a highpressure environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Latvian English and Russian languages
