Job Description
Northwestern Medicine Medical Group (NMG) is seeking a boardeligible/boardcertified Plastic Surgeon for a fulltime practice opportunity located in Winfield and Geneva IL.
- Fulltime surgeon with responsibilities to include building a reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery practice with a significant focus on microsurgical breast reconstruction oncologic reconstruction MOHS reconstruction and other general reconstruction
- Qualified candidates must (1) be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery; (2) have 35 years of practice experience; (3) completed at least one year of a microsurgery fellowship; and (4) be able to obtain permanent Illinois licensure.
- Join a system team of surgeons to expand microsurgical reconstruction in the NM West Region including:
- Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital a nationally recognized 392bed hospital level 2 trauma center with 24/7 hospitalists and intensivists in house coverage
- Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital a 159bed hospital level 2 trauma center with 24/7 Pediatric hospitalists from Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens hospital of Chicago
- Medical Staff privileges at NM CDH and NM Delnor Hospital
- Successful and expanding multispecialty physician group that promotes a collegial work environment physician success and compassionate care within a physician driven team
- EPIC electronic health record system
