The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for:
- Performing Accounts Payable functions for trade and sundry creditors (including overseas suppliers) ensuring that only authorised invoices are paid.
- Perform the required checks and upload stock and freight invoices for payment.
- These functions includesourcing invoice approval coding of invoicesmanaging due dates to ensureno late payment fees liaising with suppliers and managing EFT payment runs.
- Managing Accounts mailboxand corresponding with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing Team ExpenseReimbursement
- Reconciliation of supplieraccounts as required
- Month end duties include:
- Assisting with queries from the wider finance team for responsible countriesand assisting with other territories where required
- Reviewing Aged Creditors listing and providingfeedback on overdueamounts
- Assisting with Auditqueries
- Business process improvement being a champion for change
- Providing support and cover for Finance Team as required
The roles skills and requirements:
- Excel Intermediate level
- Windows and other Microsoft office Products
- Experience in the use of finance systems (preferably Oracle)
- Retail accounting experience desirable
