About the role:
We have recently expanded Geomiq and established a new Quality Hub in China Shenzhen. This is to support our manufacturers in China by delivering products efficiently and ensuring that our quality checks are conducted in a timely and effective manner. We are currently seeking a proven and passionate individual who is eager to develop their career in a Quality Control role within the technology and engineering industry.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage endtoend logistics operations for custommanufactured parts including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers manufacturers and delivery partners to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels ensuring accurate tracking and restocking of materials and finished products.
- Develop and execute shipping schedules ensuring compliance with customer deadlines and requirements.
- Oversee packaging and labelling processes for products to meet internal standards and client specifications.
- Implement and maintain documentation related to shipping customs and transportation compliance.
- Identify and address logistical challenges providing solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain records of shipment costs delivery timelines and carrier performance for analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (e.g. sales customer service and production) to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Support the implementation of process improvements for better cost management and streamlined workflows.
Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management Logistics Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2 3 years of experience with logistics processes in a manufacturing or ecommerce environment.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and vendors globally.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail with a problemsolving mindset.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
Desired experience:
- Knowledge of shipping and customs regulations especially for international shipments.
- Experience with ERP systems inventory management tools or logistics software.
- Background in managing packaging warehousing or distribution processes.
- Ability to deliver results in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
