Job Description
WHATS THE JOB
The Supply Chain Specialist performs some or all the following duties:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of new and existing supply chain processes
- Assist in the development of roadmaps that are in line with Dexterra Groups Incs competitive strategy and policies for multiple categories.
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment products or substitute materials.
- Identify cost savings and valueadded opportunities for assigned categories.
- Identify and determine suppliers through RFX analysis and internal stakeholders requirements.
- Work predominantly with our Supply Chain Support Services but also link with other business units nationally and internationally to establish where synergies and economies of scale exist.
- Analysis of existing and new industry trends within a given category.
- Participating in the seamless rollout of category strategy initiatives across the organization that deliver results inline with the category strategy.
- Develop and maintain supplier contracts
- Bring forward ideas for process improvements as it relates to Supply Chain initiatives.
- Relationship management with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support operational excellence across the organization related to supply chain initiatives.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Postsecondary education at an accredited University or College with a degree or diploma in Supply Chain Business or Commerce or commensurate experience.
- Advanced computer skills a must.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and with a proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- 35 years of foodservice contract experience
