Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director Business Development in Hong Kong we are looking for someone to join the team in a leadership role to help support our business development activities in Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities include the following:
- Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration loan administration custody outsourcing FX Overlay banking & payments
- Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals
- Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects
- Efficient use of Salesforce log prospective clients key influencers and logging of meeting notes
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing products and new products
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies
- Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.
- Communicate and collaborate with Line of Business Heads Marketing and Operations team members
- Contribute to the team effort and work on special projects
Qualifications :
- Experience working at a similar level in Fund Administration or Financial Services more broadly with an interest in moving into business development
- Technical understanding of alternative investment types structures and market participants
- Previous experience with alternative asset managers transaction banking and FX Overlay to be considered favorable
- Proficient English Cantonese or Mandarin is a must.
