Job Description
As a Senior Analyst Business Intelligence you will assist in gathering managing analyzing and reporting of financial data to enable actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic decisionmaking processes. You will also be responsible for designing new dashboards to measure analyze and explain key aspects of the Funds activities.
Accountabilities:
- Utilize financial systems (e.g. Oracle planning module) to support periodend close processes budgeting and forecasting and produce insightful dashboards and reports on cost drivers and trends.
- Develop and automate reporting using technology to provide insights at scale
- Iterative build and prototype dashboards solving for analytical needs to drive datacentric decisionmaking using tools like AWS QuickSight and Tableau.
- Document processes and governance policies to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Manage and maintain data from source systems ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
- Leverage technical tools (i.e. SQL Python Excel macros) complex data analysis on large volumes of unstructured data to validate data investigate and resolve system and data issues.
- Support Product Owners with analysis prioritization planning and delivery of new features and capabilities based on user needs.
- Assist in developing test cases and automating control checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information being used.
- Leverage analytical problemsolving and organizational skills to work with data providers and end users in assessing transforming and storing data for analytical and reporting requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new BI tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Manage your own workload to perform timesensitive requests accurately and on time while building effective working relationships within your team and across various groups at CPP Investments.
- Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting to enhance skills and capabilities.
Qualifications :
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field.
- 3 year of relevant experience.
- Relevant professional designation (MBA CPA or CFA) or progression toward one considered an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience in data visualization tools (e.g. AWS QuickSight Tableau Power BI) and financial systems (e.g. Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated a thirst for learning new concepts and skills in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
