Job Description
ADGA is hiring a Network Specialist to provide the overarching support to governance of a largescale defence program that ADGA manages that will follow scalable agile framework for enterprise (SAFe) practices. Also the Network Specialist will be required to spend time attending meetings working groups and conferences; and providing advice in formal documents and correspondence.
Qualifications :
- A college diploma or undergraduate degree in STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) in network software computer systems electrical or another suitable engineering or technical field
- A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience within the last 8 years in system engineering in a minimum of 3 of this assessment areas criteria:
- Plan initialize configure and employ wired military communications systems (Hardware software and network) including cryptographic devices;
- Employ military radio communications systems in both Narrow and Wide Bands;
- Implement test plans for various levels of testing including: unit integration regression system level and user acceptance tests. Must include organizing and scheduling test events as well as drafting and developing test reports;
- Lifecycle management of network systems.
- A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience within the last 8 years in the preparation of technical concept documents system specifications and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in a minimum of 3 of this assessment areas criteria:
- Drafting and developing presentations and briefings regarding test plans and results to management;
- Providing advice guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decisionmaking of management;
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams in the development and support of IT tactical systems or multisite Enterprise Networks;
- Performing strategic operational or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.
