Job Summary:
The Field Service Technician will provide field service support for our instruments equipment and accessories at our given customer site. In this role you will help to troubleshoot a variety of routine to complex problems related to operation maintenance and the calibration of the equipment.

Vision manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to service instruments and handle electrical equipment safely
Ability to learn applicable company procedures within a reasonable time from start of employment
Comfortable with carrying out maintenance tasks both independently and as part of a team
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in providing service activities including parts refurbishment maintenance calibration of equipment inspection repair performance testing customer communications project
assessment and execution and telephone customer support
Have the ability to travel extensively and work schedules that will fluctuate based on customer and business needs / demands
Perform diagnostics testing repairs test and calibration routines on the instruments and
complete all required paperwork
Accurately account for all inventory transactions associated with the repair process
Collect payment information and generate shipping and billing paperwork
Provide extensive equipment support and general hardware and software support
Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle and comply with all Veolia Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
General knowledge of electrical equipment chemistry and safety
Computer proficiency with a minimum of word processing and spreadsheets and basic data base knowledge
Ability to use ordinary hand tools calibrated tools and analytical instrumentation as well as chemically aggressive fluids such as acids and bases
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications :
Education & Experience:
Required:
Previous experience working in industrial environments.
High school diploma GED or international equivalent
Preferred:
Technical degree or certifications in chemistry electronics or other mechanical a plus
Experience with water treatment equipment or processes
Additional Information :
Working Conditions:
Will require travel for training
Site requires working outdoors exposed to the elements of the local area
Will work around potentially hazardous equipment and need to be aware and follow all
EHS procedures:
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
