The purpose of this role will be to perform inhouse and onsite equipment service support for a variety of pilotscale water treatment technologies.
Inhouse service will include assistance during the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of piloting equipment prior to shipment to Customer sites as well as shipments returning from Customer sites.
Onsite service will take place on Customer sites across North America. Services provided include commissioning decommissioning routine maintenance emergency troubleshooting and daily operation of pilot scale water treatment systems.
The person in this role will require mechanical aptitude including the ability to work with and learn various types of pumps PVC piping and various types of instrumentation equipment. The person in this role will require electrical aptitude including the ability to work with and learn motors of 120600 V PLCs and control panels.
This position will work closely with the Pilot Project Managers and Pilot Equipment Supervisor. The person will be responsible for the quality of the service performed on the pilot equipment. This position will report to the Global Pilot Engineering Leader.
This person will be required to travel within Canada and to the United States for trips ranging from 5 to 21 days.
