Job Description
FLINT is seeking a Dozer/Excavator and Front End Loader operator to carry out groundwork in the tailings area of the mine for a permanent position in Fort McMurray AB starting in January. In this position you will enjoy a 14 on/14 off schedule camp accommodations flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton and benefits after 300 hours worked.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2000 hours of experience operating a 250 excavator 2000 hours on a D8 dozer as well as 2000 hrs on 966/988 Front End Loader .
- Must be willing to complete ground work and able to lift 50lbs. Tailings/cell exp asset.
- Demonstrated experience in open pit mining with a minimum of 2000 hours.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Able to train on new equipment when requested.
- Able to provide a clean 3year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.
Additional Information :
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
