Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Director and under direction of the Lead Engineer as required the Project Engineer supports the execution triangle of Project Manager Lead Engineer and Sourcing Project Leader to execute process equipment design and build projects.

This is achieved by delivering as required for each project detailed design documentation technical material requisitions and evaluations vendor data review and approval internal or external consultant management in accordance with the project schedule. A CanDo attitude efficient decision making and close cooperation with all execution stakeholders including not only the execution triangle but also the other departments such as Proposals and Process teams is required to succeed in this role.  

  • Executes the project delivery strategy and overcomes any obstacles to deliver the Project scope within budget and onschedule.
  • Understands identifies and implements the technical requirements of the scope through the application of appropriate project specifications local and international codes. 
  • Takes appropriate action to alert the team to the risks and opportunities both technical and commercial to optimize the project outcome. 
  • Generation and timely completion of the Master Document List content which includes both internal and vendor document review and approval in accordance with contract requirements. 
  • Provides day to day Engineering support in support of Sourcing Expediting Plant and Piping Design as well as Manufacturing coordination.
  • Makes a valuable contribution to the technical contractual financial and human resources aspects of the project execution.
  • Ensures that HSEQ and company technical best practices are implemented.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status will be preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the process equipment and/or and engineered systems industry. 
  • Previous project experience in gas processing produced water treatment.
