Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Portal & Cloud Infrastructure :
- Assist in implementing cloud infrastructure by reviewing and contributing to current configurations
- Create and manage a Gitlab repository for data resources including BigQuery datasets tables and SQL queries. Automate the deployment of data resources across different environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve missing data issues for key performance indicators (KPIs) using SQL and BigQuery.
Usage Dashboard :
- Support the team by connecting various data sources to the dashboard
- Verify user information and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate on project enhancements focusing on feature development and data optimization.
Customer support :
- Manage simple incidents and demands.
- Provide enhancement for support like easy access to documentation web pages to help users to find the right information.
Dataplex Automation :
Automate processes using Terraform YAML and Bash scripting.
These responsibilities are not exhaustive and may evolve in the course of the Apprenticeship / internship. An experienced team member is assigned to help and sponsor the Apprentice / Intern.
We offer you a 12month apprenticeship contract starting in January 2025.
Qualifications :
Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science data engineering or a related field.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Languages and Tools: Experience in SQL and Bash scripting.
Cloud Technologies: Knowledge on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery. Infrastructure Tools: Familiarity with Terraform and Dataplex (or similar)
Code Management and CI/CD: Knowledge of Git Gitlab and experience with CI/CD toolchains.
Whereas skills on the technical subjects abore are important the motivation and the eagerness to learn is even more appreciated.
Good level of English both written and spoken (C1) to effectively communicate with the team and document processes.
A strong curiosity for cloud and data environments.
Detailoriented and selfdriven with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
